Awkward! Keith Urban watches wife Nicole pee on Zac Efron

Uhmmm ewwww.

All day I've been reading various stories about this new movie called The Paperboy that Nicole Kidman has coming out where she plays a lady who is obsessed with men in prison.  The prisoner she is currently obsessed with is played by John Cusack.  Along comes man-boy Zac Efron and his brother in the movie played by Matthew McConaughey who are doing research on John Cusack's prisoner character.  

Long story short, there's a part in the film where Nicole pees on Zac Effron.  No joke.  The pissing takes place because Zac's character gets stung by a jellyfish and apparently urine is good remedy for jellyfish stings.

Wonder if it works on bee stings?  Food for thought there. 

So anyway, people seem to be pretty riled up that Nicole let it flow on golden boy **teehee** Zac Effron despite the fact that the scene wasn't sexual in nature. 

Sheesh, what's a little urine between friends?  

Well browsing online tonight I see that Keith Urban hit Cannes today to support his wife at the premiere of The Paperboy.   

Now all I can think about is whether Nicole told Keith about the pee scene beforehand or if she let it be a big surprise.  Also, how in the world would you start that conversation?

Gary Allan has finished his next album!

Exciting news my fellow Gary Allan worshipers! Gary has officially finished his next album....well finished recording it anyway.  Now comes the hard work of everything else that goes into producing an awesome album, which I'm just assuming is a lot of work since I really know diddlysquat about the actual album-making process. 

But he's finished recording it and that's what matters.

Gary tells the Bangor Daily News in an interview before a tour stop there:

I just finished it. I turned it in two days ago, and right now we’re mastering it. It’s a really up album. It’s a more rocking album than I’ve ever done. It covers everything from breaking up to healing. The first song is called “A Tough Goodbye” and it really goes from there. It goes from anger to healing. I’m in Nashville right now, recording. I got to wake up in my own bed. It was nice.

Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors heads to The Library of Congress (press release)

Last night I was all set to write about Dolly's song Coat of Many Colors being added to The Library of Congress, but I procrastinated and look what happened -- someone wrote a nice little press release about it and saved me the trouble of writing it for myself. 

Love when that happens.  Now here's the press release.....

Dolly Parton’s self-penned song “Coat of Many Colors” added to The Library of Congress National Recording Registry. Each year the Library of Congress selects 25 recordings that are “historically”, “culturally”, or “aesthetically significant” and are at least 10 years old to be added to the National Recording Registry, with selections that are being added to the registry now bringing the total number of recordings to 350.

 

Ronnie Dunn laughs at your dreams of a Brooks & Dunn reunion

I know there are a few of you out there who are still devastated by the Brooks & Dunn breakup a couple of years back and are hoping against all odds that the duo will finally come to their senses and get back together.  Guess what?  Ain't gonna happen -- at least according to the Dunn half of the duo. 

Ronnie appeared on the CBS morning show this morning and told the interviewers when asked about a possible reunion, "Are you kidding me? Never....What is (the phrase) - 'when hell freezes over?' I'll play that."

But no worries, Ronnie laughed while he said it so who knows?  Besides, never for celebrities tends to just mean until the money runs out or they need some extra publicity, so never pretty much never actually means never, if you know what I mean.

Ron Swanson reads a Taylor Swift tweet

Nick Offerman, AKA Ron Swanson from the T.V. show Parks and Recreation, has a new job for the Conan O'Brien show -- reading the tweets of young female celebrities. 

The very first tweet on the very first segment just happened to be a Taylor tweet.  Nick/Ron's deadpan delivery definiately makes off-the-wall tweets more enjoyable.   

Chely Wright's coming-out documentary "Wish Me Away" available on television June 1

Chely Wright's labor of love, Wish Me Away, is a documentary about her struggles with announcing to the world that she was gay, the first major country singer to do so. 

The trailer for the movie actually looks pretty intense and interesting and I will definitely watch it whenever I get the chance.
