Kristy Lee Cook promotional video

Kristy Lee put a video on her MySpace to promote her new CD, "Why Wait."  It shows her at home with her dogs and horses and it shows her in the studio. 

She's not as cute as Kellie Pickler or as talented as Carrie Underwood, but I think she'll do just fine as the newest country American Idol.

I do hope that the next AI country star has a name that starts with something other than a C or a K.  Kellie, Carrie, and now Kristy, it's getting a little confusing.

Taylor is dishin' out advice Taylor Swift is one busy gal. She's currently in London to perform her very first European concert (I'm still looking for pictures) and this Sunday she'll be heading to the MTV video awards where she's nominated for "Best New Artist." You can vote for Taylor here. On top of all that, Taylor still has the urge to help her fellow teenie boppers. Over on J-14 - a website and magazine geared towards teens - Taylor is their new advice columnist. There is no word on when she will begin her new position, but I'm sure she'll tackle her new post...

Wanna play cards? Andy Griggs has a concert this Saturday at Billy Bob's Texas stage in Fort Worth, Texas, but before he sings Andy wants to play some cards. Griggs recently placed in the top 12% of the world series of poker and now wants to play with a few lucky fans. If you arrive at Billy Bob's by 8:30 p.m. you can sign up for a chance to play poker with the singer. Then at 10:30 Griggs will take the stage for his concert. Cards AND a show, sounds like a fun Saturday evening to me.
