Loretta Lynn postpones show due to family medical emergency

For the second time in a year, Loretta Lynn has had to reschedule a concert in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 

Lynn was scheduled to perform at the Paramount Theatre tonight, but has postponed the show for a family medical emergency. According to the local CBS station, the new date is scheduled for Thursday, March 27, 2015. Ticket holders can keep their current tickets or seek a refund.

There's no word on what the family emergency is, but last month I had a reader ask me on Facebook what was wrong with Loretta's daughter Cissie, so I wonder if perhaps it has to do with her. 

What is wrong with CISSY LYNN, daughter of LORETTA LYNN? I've been seeing a lot of prayer request for her, the last couple days.

A quick check of Facebook shows that one of Loretta's daughters, Peggy, asked for prayers for her sister Cissie who is set to have surgery this Friday.

It's not clear what is wrong with Cissie, but she commented on the surgery on Facebook herself back on 9/2, saying: 

I truly want to thank each and everyone of you for your thoughts and prays . I will be having surgery Friday it's a very long process but I know god will be holding my hands though out my recovery I love you all thanks you for being my friend and caring about me hopeful I will be able to sing again in a few months . Love to all cissie

Thoughts and prayers going out to Loretta and all of her family and fingers crossed that poor Cedar Rapids will eventually get their long-awaited Loretta Lynn concert.
