Country music may finally be moving in the right direction, thanks to a songwriter named Audra Mae.

The Band Perry has mentioned her name on two separate occasions - listen below.

Miranda Lambert's new single, "Little Red Wagon" was written by Audra Mae.

Up until recently, Audra Mae had only written pop songs. She is definitely most welcome in our format, I mean, listen to pop radio right now. Overall, there's WAY more substance in 90% of the songs being played.

Oh, and just in case you wondered, the girl can sing, too.
