Busy gal around town, Elizabeth, was lucky enough to see James Otto, Randy Houser, and Jamie in Nashville last night and then was nice enough to send a few pics and a review. Thanks Elizabeth!
Last Night was the annual Buds-n-Suds event at Losers in Nashville featuring James Otto and Randy Houser. Buds-n-Suds benefits the Tennessee Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. What an awesome show! James Otto took the stage first and played a great set. Otto sang singles, "Just Got Started Lovin You," "For You," "Since You Brought It Up" as well as some new stuff that will be on his new album coming out in late September. Also, two favorites "You Don't Act Like My Woman," which he wrote with brother-in-law Jay DeMarcus and "Drink & Dial," which he wrote with buddy John Rich. Look for a lot more Memphis style country soul to come from this man!
In the middle of Otto's set, he invited Jamey Johnson to come on stage. Jamey sang fan favorite "In Color," which he wrote with Otto.
Randy Houser closed the show. I had to leave early, so don't have much on him, but I didn't leave until I heard "Already Gone!" Randy's stage presence is improving, and everyone should check him out during his upcoming CMT tour with Jamey Johnson!
