Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, and Keith Urban take home early CMA Awards, Miranda announces new partnership with Dodge Ram

Congratulations to Keith, Miranda, and Dierks who were announced live on Good Morning America this morning as early CMA Award winners (video). 

Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert took home the trophy for Musical Event of the Year for their collaboration on We Were Us. Director Wes Edwards and Dierks Bentley won the award for Music Video of the Year for their hilarious Drunk On A Plane.

After the win was revealed, Miranda said, "It's insane. It just feels great. Like I'm in such a good mood this morning. I woke up happy because it's going to be a great day."

The rest of the awards will be handed out at tonight's CMA Awards.  

In addition to winning her first (but probably not last) award of the day, Miranda also revealed that she has teamed up with Ram Trucks for a new partnership. To kick things off, Dodge donated a customized Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn to benefit Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation. The truck, which is just like the one Lambert drives, will be auctioned off on eBay starting today through November 15 at ebay.com/rammuttnation.

A “dog mother” to seven rescue dogs, MuttNation’s goal is to help end animal cruelty, neglect and homelessness. In addition to the Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn, fans can also bid on other special items, including signed copies of Lambert’s “Platinum” CD, signed guitars and tickets to one of Lambert’s concerts in 2015, featuring a pre-show cocktail with her.

The auction is just the beginning of the relationship between Lambert and Ram, which will continue to evolve throughout 2015. One of the top artists in country music today, Lambert is a truck woman through and through. She’s been in trucks her whole life, from the farm she was born on in Texas, to her current ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Fans can tune in to tonight's CMA Awards on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.

Miranda Lambert saves dogs & looks stunning while doing it

Miranda Lambert wore her heart on her sleeve during a private event at Music City Center on Monday (Nov. 3), playfully tugging at two exhuberant puppies. The event, sponsored by Pedigree, assisted on shining a hopeful light on shelter dogs and their journey from the street to loving homes. While the CMA Awards are a day away, her music and chart-topping career was the furthest thing from her mind, as he sat upon the makeshit astrotuf with bundles of joy cheerful bounced in her arms.

"It's an awesome way to spend the day," she had said, moments before the hangout session. "What a better way to chill out before the CMA Awards than to play with puppies?"

On her own Muttnation's partnership with Pedigree: "I started MuttNation Foundation back in 2009, and Pedigree came to us with a proposal a couple of years ago to work together. I realized that the goals we have are about the same -- to raise awareness for sheltered pets, and to help improve shelters, to encourage people to adopt. It was the perfect partnership. The fact that a big company like this is really pushing people to adopt from shelters makes me so happy."

CMT announces their Artists of the Year

CMT will celebrate an incredible year in the country music industry by honoring Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban as the top country artists of 2014 in an all-new CMT ARTISTS OF THE YEAR, premiering LIVE from Nashville on Tuesday, December 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET.  The 90-minute special will bring together this year’s five honorees and their peers for an evening filled with star-studded performances and celebration, honoring each artist’s successes over the past year.

Urban, a first-time honoree, joins Aldean, Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Lambert, all of whom have been honored in previous years at the annual ceremony.  Aldean has been named a CMT ARTIST OF THE YEAR since the award’s inception in 2010.

“Country music has never been bigger, and these five are its biggest stars of 2014,’’ said John Hamlin, SVP Music Events and Talent, CMT.  “We do everything we can do to make sure this is the party of the year for them.  And rightfully so.  They’ve earned it.”

Over the past 12 months, all five honorees have illustrated their impact in country music through massive radio airplay, chart-topping album sales and millions of individual downloads of their current singles.  Additionally, these acts have sold out concert tours and, collectively, their videos have received hundreds of millions of streams, earning them the honor of being named one of CMT’s ARTISTS OF THE YEAR.

Past artists named as CMT ARTISTS OF THE YEAR include Aldean, Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Lambert, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band.

Miranda Lambert and LeAnn Rimes to take part in special holiday Dog-A-Thon

Miranda Lambert's pet adoption efforts are legendary, and now the singer is taking her love of homeless pets to television for a new holiday special. 

Miranda along with LeAnn Rimes, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Duhamel, Kristen Bell, Fergie, Paula Abdul, Betty White and Kesha will take part in The Great American Dog-A-Thon on Fox this Thanksgiving. The two-hour special will feature rescue dog stories, viral videos of people rescuing dogs, and musical tributes. The special will also honor those who spend their lives trying to find homes for homeless dogs.

As an added pet adoption push, the stars taking part will show off dogs that are currently available for adoption and give instructions on how fans can give the animals new homes. 

The Great American Dog-A-Thon will air Thanksgiving night, Thursday, November 27, on Fox from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT. 

Blake Shelton has had enough of tabloids saying he and Miranda aren't great...

Oh boy. You'd think Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert would be more than used to rumors about them breaking up or getting divorced or cheating. Or anything else negative you can thank of. But it appears that this time it crossed a line. Blake felt the need to respond via Twitter to the latest round of allegations.

In Touch Weekly quoted an unnamed source saying Miranda and Blake are "barely together," and she is worried they'll grow further apart if they don't  spend more time together.

Blake took to his trusty twitter with the message, "Maybe because the divorce rate is so high the tabloids have  just decided to play the odds with me and Miranda. Morons."

He then  finished the message off in true Blake fashion by using the hashtag #eatad*ck."

So in case you didn't catch it...Blake and Miranda are fine. Geez.

Miranda Lambert announces her Certified Platinum Tour for 2015

Talk about getting a jump on things

Miranda Lambert just recently wrapped her summer 2014 Platinum Tour, but is already thinking ahead to 2015 and has just announced her 2015 Certified Platinum Tour. 

The Certified Platinum Tour will begin in January of '15 and so far has 28 cities planned.

Justin Moore will join Lambert along with adopted mini-me, RaeLynn, Sunny Sweeney, Danielle Bradbery and one of her Pistol Annies partners in crime, Ashley Monroe.

Miranda Lambert's heartfelt reaction while singing to a cancer patient...

Despite Miranda's fierce reputation, she proved just how soft side her soft was as she sang to a 7 year old cancer patient. Lambert was in Corpus Christi and noticed one of the fans in the audience was fighting cancer. That fan was Brooke Hester, and she’s battling Stage IV Neuroblastoma cancer. She was diagnosed in 2010.

During the performance Miranda bent down and grabbed the little girl's hand to serenade her. When she was done, Miranda was noticeably in tears.

A moment you could never plan to happen, it was a moment that will mean so much for years to come to all involved.

Miranda Lambert is red hot!

Blake Shelton is a lucky, lucky man! Miranda stunned in a hot little red number while performing 'Little Red Wagon' during Monday night's Fashion Rocks event and all I can do is try and pick my jaw up from off the floor. Totally girl crushin' right now! Chhhheck out her performance below:

 

 

Miranda Lambert's bed and breakfast, The Ladysmith, is now open for business

According to an earlier interview Miranda gave, the building that is now The Ladysmith was built in 1901 and is right across the street from her Pink Pistol in Miranda and Blake's hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Miranda Lambert likes T-Swift's new song, won't start a record label, and other revelations

Miranda Lambert recently called into The Barnyard recently to chat with Broadway and let him know what she thinks about Taylor's new pop tune, what she thinks about Taylor possibly returning to country music in the future, and when the last time she tweeted and deleted was.

Miranda also explained why she's never considered starting her own record label.  

"No. You know, I never have thought about that. It's so much to think about. It's a gamble, which everything is, but I'm just now 30 years old and I'm trying to figure it all out as I go. I feel like I've kind of got the music business figured out and as soon as I do there's a new corner turned or a new streaming thing going on or whatever's happening ... it's just a little bit of a gamble to ever figure out what exactly the formula is 'cause there's not one."
