As I get ready to start my day I've got one song on repeat in my ear buds and that's Thomas Rhett's 'Make Me Wanna'. Ugh just so darn catchy! Chhheck it out below:

Nashville USA Today journalist Brian Mansfield knows a thing or two about good music. Real good music even. So naturally when he tweets to check out a certain artists, I don't ask, I just do. And boy am I glad I did when he mentioned the up and comer Maggie Chapman. This young lady brings a unique soulfulness that typically takes years to develop. She is a combination of a Taylor Swift/Sheryl Crowe/Ingrid Michaelson sound. However, when you listen to her stuff, she finds a way to make it 100% her own sound. Seriously talented. I personally have had 'Golden Girl' in my ear buds all morning long.
Go ahead and check her out! You won't be disappointed!
Back when I heard that Big & Rich were working on new music, I didn't think much of it. Honestly, despite the fact that I like the duo, I figured their best music was behind them.
The pair's newest song Look At You is really good and makes me excited to hear what else they've been brewing in the studio.
I'm definitely digging Look At You right now.
If you're digging the song, too, be sure to let John Rich know when he takes part in a #CMchat Twitterview tomorrow, Monday, March 24. You can find out more info on how to join the fun over on CMchatlive.com.

Nothing like some vintage T-Swift...back in the days when she was un-deniably country singing some not so country music. However...anyone of any genre can agree on Mumford and Sons and Taylor really hit it out of the park! For your listening pleasure, chhhhhheck her singing 'White Blank Page' above and killin' it!
One word: 'Amazed'. I mean kids had their first dance to that song, people were dedicated to their significant others left and right, husbands and wives had their first dance, couples their first kiss and....lots more if you catch my drift. That song is just ONE sampling of the mega success that this band had. And with that one word I mentioned....you know I'm talking about Lonestar, right? The band that also put out the uber emotional "I'm Already There", and "Mr.Mom", "Walking In Memphis", "No News", "What About Now", "Lets Be Us Again" (Seriously, if I keep typing ALL their hits...my fingers would fall off.) And besides...if you've ever listened to country music the last 20 years, you know all about them.
But did you know they've got a NEW CD out? AND Richie is back! The band's new album., "Life As We Know It" is an amazing transition into a modern country sound that is still deeply rooted in the sound we first fell in love with them. It's a mix of upbeat country hits you can get down to and the ballads you need to break out the tissues with. Here are the guys explaining one of my favorites from the album(AND you'll also find their tie to Big N' Rich...chhheck it out below:

Okay so we know Justin has hinted at a move to Nashville(he said it's not a matter of IF, but when) and people have teased a country album is next for him to accomplish...but you know what? That isn't such a far fetched idea! And we already know he's lent his writing powers to the country world in the song 'Drink You Away' that David Fanning has on the radio right now. So here's crossing fingers and toes...
Take a listen to his BEAUTIFUL vocals in the folk classic, '500 miles' from the movie, Inside Llewyn Davis:
Well, kids and teenagers would be a lot safer that's for sure. We could have skipped that whole VMA performance and I would be able to look at a foam finger at a sporting event and not shudder with terrible flashbacks. That's all irrelevent though because she didn't follow the country music path. But maybe she should have....you ever heard Miley's cover of Dolly Parton's Jolene? It's DARN good. Tickle your earbuds with a listen below(no really...you won't regret it):
And if you want more country and Miley, she's performing tonight on MTV on their Unplugged Country Theme show with....Madonna. I refuse to comment on that til I see it.
Justin's latest single 'Drink You Away' was given a serious country make over by up and comer David Fanning and you know what? David really does it justice. A bold move picking one a song out of JT's catalog and he not only makes it sound undeniable country, but he makes it his own. If you haven't yet heard on SiriusXM then take a listen below. You won't regret it!
As someone who regularly fights depression, Maggie Rose's Better gets to me every time I hear it. It may be a song about getting over a person, but I definitely think it's a song for anybody who just wants to feel better sometimes.
When I heard that Sheryl Crow was going to give country a try my first reaction was, "Why?" However, after hearing her first country offering (aside from Picture with Kid Rock anyway) with Easy (iTunes/Amazon), now I'm ready for more.
This song just makes me happy.
Sheryl Crow's full country album, Feels Like Home, will hit stores September10.
