Songs I'm digging right now: "Bring It On Home" by Kix Brooks

I don't know what I was expecting from Kix Brooks' new album 'New To This Town', but I don't honestly think I was expecting to love any of his music. 

Not sure why that is, but it's the truth.  

I'm happy to report that I love, love, love Kix's new single Bring It On Home.

Definitely makes me think I need to take the time and listen to the rest of the songs on the album.

My local radio station just recently put Katie Armiger's single Better In a Black Dress (purchase here) on a regular rotation and I'm now hooked.

Love this song!

Heard this song (Kacey Musgraves -- Merry Go 'Round) on the radio for the first time on Friday, now I'm hooked. 

I can't stop listening to it.

Songs I'm digging right now: "Wanted" by Hunter Hayes

I have to admit that I was less than enthused when Hunter Hayes first started showing up on my radar. Nothing personal against Hunter, I was just sort of the opposite of excited. 

I think it's my basic aversion to any teenager that didn't come from my womb. 

Yes, I'm aware he's like 20, but he looks 16 so he still counts as a teenager in my book. 

I do have to admit, though, that Hunter's grown on me the last couple of months and I'm absolutely digging his single Wanted.

Digging Maggie Rose's I Ain't Your Mama today...or as I prefer to say I ain't yo Damn Mama. 

That totally should have been the name of this song. 

Maggie's new lyric video for the song is a blast. Just wait for the alpaca who makes an appearance halfway through. Definitely not your average lyric video.
