So there I was minding my own business on twitter one day when Justin Timberlake posts an almost interesting tweet:

My initial reaction was well yeah that makes two of us, but then I deciced to investigate this a lil bit further. Who was this guy that was brave enough to take a Justin Timberlake song and turn it country? I mean, we know his name, but really who was he? He obviously oozed talent. Like real deal, talent, too. Not that manufactured stuff they sell in stores. No, his talent is genuine. He took a popular pop song and made it undeniable country. He literally did what I woulda' deemed the impossible...he made the song his own. And a fair warning to all the ladies out there...the way he sings the line "I just can't forget the way we turned out this bed" will make your heart skip a beat. Wanna know more? Okay, for some reason people have been coming to NashvilleGab a lot lately searching for whether Luke Bryan is getting divorced or is already divorced.

The simple answer to that burning question is: I don't think so.

Honestly, as an outsider looking in I'm not a party to Luke's private life and have no way of knowing these things unless TMZ or People.com breaks the story. I will tell you, though, that as a gossip/news writer I've heard nary a squawk on the subject from those nosy nellies out there who like to pass on this sort of information to me. As far as I know, Luke and his lovely wife Caroline are as happy as two peas in a cozy little pod. With two sons to think about, let's hope they stay that way.

But why the sudden interest in Luke's marriage status? Probably just wishful thinking. I mean come on, the man is a handsome fella with really nice teeth. Apart from the normal sexiness worship, however, if you Google "Luke Bryan divorce" one of the first results that pops up is a bit of fan fiction someone wrote about Luke getting divorced and falling in love with the writer.

On Wednesday, October 10th, the new T.V. drama "Nashville" will hit the airwaves starring Hayden Panettiere and Connie Britton. Lately there have been ads running to promote the show which have been playing a song in the background that people have been coming here in droves searching for. 

Even after watching the preview myself, I had no clue who it was that was singing so I finally decided to take some time and hunt the song down. 

Two weeks later.....

Haha, not really, but it actually wasn't all that easy to track down and I ended up looking for the song based on the bits of lyrics I could decipher in the commercial. 

I finally found it on YouTube. The song is called All that Glitter & Gold (purchase song here) by Rebecca Ferguson.

So yesterday was a huge day in Randy Travis news and a day I'm sure he'd happily forget if the world would just let him. Don't see that happening anytime soon.

Anyway, ever since news hit that Randy had been released from jail, I've seen a steady stream of people coming here because they were searching for info about Tim McGraw posting Randy's bail.  

I hadn't heard anything about this so I figured I'd go and do some snooping since you never know, maybe Tim had posted Randy's $21,500 bail and I was just the last to know. The two did sing a duet on Randy's 25th anniversary album so maybe they're old buddies. 

So off I went to get to the bottom of the mystery. That's when I came across this photo from Chris Jennings of the AP. 

Ohhhh, OK, I see what's probably happening. There's also this video of Randy being released from jail (and another here) so I'm thinking that people may have seen the picture or the video or other pictures floating around the web, seen the resemblance the guy in tan has to Tim, and had a case of mistaken identity.  

So, if you seen the guy above, that's not Tim. Now it's still possible that Tim posted bail behind the scenes and out of the public eye, I don't have any info about that, but just based on the picture above, I'd say no.  

If anyone hears anything to the contrary, just let me know.

Wow, there for a minute I was thinking I had miraculously become super popular overnight because all of a sudden tons of people were searching for "what country is Gab from?"  

Then reality hit me and the thought popped in my head that Gab must be short for a country competing in the Summer Olympics currently taking place in London and people were wondering where it was. 

Total downer there.

First off, I wish! 

Actually I don't wish since it's not like I'd ever have any swinging interaction with him, but as most of you know, I'm officially a desperate housewife so a girl can always dream, you know?

Secondly, muahahahahaha.

I have no good answer to this question, I just wanted to bring this search term up because I found it highly entertaining and it made me giggle like a school girl.

So the latest popular search term that keeps landing people on NashvilleGab is "Dixie Chicks 2012".  

The Dixie Chicks. Oh, the Dixie Chicks. Everyone always wants to know what's going on with the Chicks.

Well the easy answer is nothing is really going on with the Dixie Chicks....as a group anyway. I haven't heard any plans of new music, which is probably what most people are wondering.  

I think for all intents and purposes, the group is pretty much broken up, save for the occasional charity event or special concert appearance, they just don't seem to want to admit it publicly. In fact, they've outright denied that they're broken up. Maybe they still have hopes of recording again, I honestly don't know. Maybe they don't know themselves and are just playing it by ear.

I think I can speak for a lot of country fans in saying that the Dixie Chicks are right up there with Garth Brooks in who we'd like to hear new music from.

Okay, so this is an odd search that keeps popping up here on the site. For some reason I keep getting people coming here searching for "Sean Payton affair."

First off, who? I had absolutely no clue who Sean Payton is and why in the world anyone would be searching NashvilleGab for him. I googled and found out he's a sport's dude, or more precisely he's the head coach for the New Orleans Saints or was or something. 

So that explains why I had no clue who he was. So now why are people ending up here searching for "Sean Payton affair?"

I google those exact words.  Turns out I'm like the 8th site down when you use those search terms. I'm the second link if you search for "Sean Payton rumored affair."

Funny.

To answer that fan question: Where was Kenny Chesney's "Come Over" video filmed?

I've been noticing a popular question lately that people come to NashvilleGab searching for: Where was Kenny Chesney's "Come Over" music video shot? 

Unfortunately, this isn't a question I've answered before so I thought I'd go ahead and try and get to the bottom of this question to help those who are wondering.    

I've already had a post about Kenny's lovely costar in the video, Courtney McCann. Now here's the answer to the other popular question about where the video was shot.  As a bonus, I also have a little info about the fancy boat Kenny was driving.    

According to GAC, the video was directed by Shaun Silva and was shot in Miami. 

I did a little more digging and found the website Cedar Posts which gives an address for the house that the video was shot at: 2501 Mercedes Drive in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (map). 

Also from Cedar Posts, the yacht is an 86 foot Riva Domino fancy son-of-a-gun. Unfortunately for those nosy, the Riva Domino website doesn't list a purchase price (which normally means it's too expensive for the average working stiff), but the Cedar Posts website says it's upwards of $6 million.

UPDATE: I originally had it posted that the boat was a loaner and not Kenny's personal boat.  I've been told that it is in fact Kenny's personal boat. You can now commence being jealous of Kenny's personal boat.
